Dear Parents, Staff, and Community Members,
Beginning Tuesday, September 23, Main Street East (CSAH 15) will be closed at the intersection with Park Street North (CSAH 28) due to ongoing utility and road construction.
What this means for you:

Post Office Access: Vehicle access from Main Street East to the Post Office and Fitzloff Avenue will be closed. Temporary pedestrian access to the Post Office will remain available for about one week by parking on Main Street East and walking along the east side of Park Street North.

Barricades & Detours: Barricades will be placed on CSAH 15 near CSAH 28 and just east of McPherson Township Hall. Residents living along CSAH 15 will be able to reach their homes, but all other traffic must use the posted detours.

Pedestrian Path: The park path will remain open for pedestrian traffic only—no vehicles.

Buses & School Traffic: All buses and parents transporting students should plan to use the detour routes when coming into and out of St. Clair. Expect extra travel time.
This work will continue for the coming weeks. The good news is that only the intersection will be completed this fall; the full reconstruction of Main Street East will begin next spring.
Thank you for your patience as the city completes this project. Please plan ahead for the detours to help ensure safe and timely school transportation.
