Health Office Reminder
We have seen an increase in illness at school over the past few weeks. To help keep our students and staff healthy, the Health Office would like to share a gentle reminder about when children should stay home from school.
If your child is experiencing symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or fever, please keep them home until they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication before returning to school.
Students with skin infections such as impetigo, ringworm, or certain eye infections should receive medical treatment and use any prescribed medication for at least 24 hours before returning to school.
If your child becomes ill during the school day, the Health Office will contact a parent or guardian. If we are unable to reach you, we will contact the person listed on your child’s emergency contact card.
Thank you for helping us keep our school community healthy and safe. Your partnership in monitoring symptoms and allowing proper recovery time helps reduce the spread of illness in our classrooms.
